How do I know that you’re charging me a fair price?
Our Experienced Staffs and experienced estate buyers of fine diamond jewelry will carefully inspect the cut, color, clarity and carat of your diamond. We will use GIA Standards, and our extensive information on the current diamond market to determine a fair price for your diamond.
How do you determine the fair market value of my diamond?
Knowledge is the key to a fair price in the diamond market. In addition to our extensive experience, we are members of Rapaport Services, Polygon and the Internet Diamond Exchange (INDEX), allowing us access to all the latest information that can affect the diamond market and the market value of your diamond.
How can I be sure the diamond I am buying is genuine?
Our diamonds have all undergone the process of certification. This means that they have been evaluated and graded by an objective, trained professional from a reputable laboratory, such as you should expect to review a copy of its certificate as proof that it has undergone an unbiased, professional examination by an organization such as Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the American Gem Society Laboratories (AGSL). These laboratories are widely respected in the diamond industry, because of their consistency and unbiased diamond grading systems. Purchasing a diamond accompanied by a certificate from either organization means that you can be confident that your diamond is genuine.
May I visit you in person to purchase my diamond?

If I am not in Los Angeles, can I see my diamond before committing to a purchase?
While we are not able to arrange for out of town clients to see a diamond before purchasing it, we do offer a very fair return policy. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days. We do retain the right to charge you a small restocking fee, which we will discuss with you before you make your purchase.
Is it safe to buy a diamond without seeing it?
A diamond is a major purchase, and we understand that it can be an emotional process. Gem Dynasty stays at the top of our field because we are trustworthy. Before you purchase your diamond, you will have ample opportunity to review photos, certifications and reports, and to ask as many questions as you need to ask.
Do you deal with clients outside of the US?
Yes, we deal with clients all over the world.
Do you have all your diamonds in your possession?
Yes, we own all our diamonds and have them in our possession.

Will I pay taxes on my purchase?
Gem Dynasty is located in California, therefore California clients will pay an 8.25% sales tax, as required by law. Out of state clients will not be charged sales tax.
How can you guarantee the lowest price?
In addition to our extensive connections and knowledge, which enable us to seek out the very best values in the market, we have a very low overhead. When you purchase a diamond from us, you are not paying for an expensive storefront location, extensive staff, and other costs involved in running a bricks and mortar store. We do not have these costs, and we are happy to pass the savings along to you.
How much will it cost to ship and insure my diamond?
Your shipping and insurance charges will depend on your location and on the value and size of your purchase. We can assure you that we make no profit on these charges, but charge you only what it costs us.
